The labour dispute at the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor is finally over.
The Town and its municipal workers have reached a deal after a 14-week lockout.
The tentative agreement puts an end to a long back-and-forth that played out in the public between the town and CUPE 1349, which represents the workers.
The union’s bargaining committee is recommending membership accept the collective agreement, with a ratification vote coming in the next few days.
After the agreement is formalized, both parties will work together to see the workers return.
The details of the deal will be released following the ratification vote.
