They’re tuning up the guitars and violins as the Iceberg Alley Performance Tent prepares for opening night.
The sounds of music will fill the air on the banks of Quidi Vidi tonight as performers and fans go under the big top.
The next eleven nights will be musical ones at the festival, now into its third year.
The large tent being used for the Iceberg Alley was bought by John Steele of Brigus Music Productions. It had actually been in storage for years because of 9/11.
He says it had never been used before he got it. It was to be used by Disney for an event in Europe but that was cancelled because of the September 11 attacks.
