A major milestone will be marked today at Memorial University.
A ceremony marking the official opening of the Core Science Building in St. John’s will take place this afternoon.
The 480,000 square foot $325-million facility was the university’s largest infrastructure project since the opening of the university’s Elizabeth Avenue campus 60 years ago.
The project was cost-shared through joint federal and provincial government funding.
The official opening will take place at 2:45 p.m. VOCM News will be there.
