Despite extended hours, long lineups persist outside the post office in Harbour Grace which is handling mail and deliveries for both Harbour Grace and Spaniard’s Bay.
The postal outlet in Spaniard’s Bay, which was located in a convenience store, suddenly shut down earlier this month when the store closed.
Canada Post officials say they are working on a solution for the short and long term, but frustrations are building.
Area MHA Pam Parsons says she’s received many complaints.
“Canada Post, you can do better” she says.
