Over 70 per cent of the province’s COVID cases since February 28th of last year have been in fully vaccinated patients.
That’s according to a graph on the province’s COVID-19 hub.
Although the province has not released the vaccination status of cases recorded during the Omicron outbreak specifically, given that the province’s total case count has exploded in recent weeks, those cases have undoubtedly had an impact on the percentages shown.
According to the graph, which has been updated with yesterday’s numbers, 70 per cent of our cases have been in people fully vaccinated, 24 per cent in unvaccinated, and 5.6 per cent in partially vaccinated.
Another graph detailing the vaccination status of COVID hospitalizations/deaths in the province, has not been updated since October 20th.
According to the site, the graph is updated every 10 new hospitalizations/deaths in the province.
