RNC police dog Avalon tracked down a suspect in a late-night robbery in the capital city leading to the arrest of a 38-year-old man.
The RNC received a call around 10:30 p.m. about a man removing the wheels from a vehicle on the parking lot of a business on Logy Bay Road.
When an officer arrived to investigated, the suspect ran from the area on foot.
The RNC Police Dog Service was called in, and Avalon tracked the suspect down a short time later. RNC have charged the man with theft under $5,000 dollars. He’s been released to appear in court at a later date.
