Two people were taken to hospital, one of whom suffered serious injuries, following a two vehicle head-on collision on the southwest coast Wednesday night.
The crash forced the temporary closure of the Lapoile Highway between Margaree and Isle aux Morts while emergency crews attended to the scene.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
