There were no injuries as the result of a shed fire in Happy Valley-Goose Bay this afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the scene shortly before 2:00 p.m.

Thick plumes of smoke could be seen rising into the clear sky above the town.

Firefighters managed to knock the blaze down.

The cause of the fire was not criminal in nature.
