Some of the largest municipalities on the northeast Avalon are continuing the formal exploration of regional economic opportunities in the region.

St. John’s, Mount Pearl, Paradise and CBS have announced the next phase of a feasibility study on regional economic opportunities set to begin this month.

MDB Insight will conduct additional research and analysis, and present options and recommendations for a regional economic development framework.

The project is being led by a steering committee that includes each of the municipal mayors and an advisory committee of senior municipal staff.
