Memorial University is aiming for all students and faculty to return to campus on January 31.

At the St. John’s campus, any class with fewer than 100 students enrolled will take place in person, while classes with more than that will continue online.

As previously announced, labs, performing arts programs, and practicums will take place in person where possible.

At the Grenfell Campus, most classes will proceed in person. All Marine Institute students should also plan to return to campus on January 31.

Students taking classes with both in-person and remote delivery will have access to space on all campuses to participate in their remote classes.

The school says the decision was made with consultation with Public Health and assure students that the decision has been made with their safety in mind.

The school says if the COVID-19 situation changes in the province, MUN may be required to change its approach.
