Justin Trudeau is making a campaign stop here in St. John’s this morning.
Trudeau will be the first federal leader to visit the province since he called the election a week ago, though NDP leader Jagmeet Singh made the pitch for his party before the writ dropped on September 3.
The Liberal leader’s website says he will make a policy announcement at the Daybreak Parent Child Centre at 9:30.
It will be a short stop in the province as Trudeau has another event planned for 6:00 p.m. on Prince Edward Island.
