The winter has turned out to be a bit of a dud for winter outdoor enthusiasts on the eastern portion of the island, but Marble Mountain is reporting a successful season so far in terms of snow-making, despite a recent thaw in temperatures.
Sales and Marketing Manager at Marble Mountain Resort, Dustin Parsons says while Alert Level 4 is limiting their plans for special weekend activities, the skiing is great.
“We made more snow in the first week of this year, than we made all of last year” says Parsons, who calls the man-made snow “bulletproof”.
