It was a busy night for fire crews across the metro region early Sunday morning.

At around 1:00 a.m. first responders were called to a structure fire in Torbay.

A detached garage was destroyed in the blaze.

A short time later, at around 1:30 a.m. crews responded to a fire in the downtown area.

A boarding house on Merrymeeting Road was damaged.

Both fires remain under investigation.
