The highway is partially open again at the Avondale access.
A detour has been in place for days, at times resulting in lengthy delays, as work replacing a culvert in the area continued.
The Department of Transportation and Works was working to have the highway open again at 6:30 this morning.
TCH/Avondale update:
• Eastbound lanes will be open by 6:30 am
• Area is still a construction zone
• Speed reductions remain in place
• Westbound lanes to open later Tuesday

According to callers to the VOCM newsroom both eastbound lanes are now open, while there are still crews working to clear the scene.
Westbound lanes are scheduled to be reopened later today.
