A fundraising effort is underway to help pay for some 50 ventilation units purchased for St. Bonaventure’s College to help meet COVID protocols and improve air circulation in the classroom.
St. Bon’s is a private school and the provincial government has not supplied the K-12 facility with the needed ventilation units.
President and Head of Schools at St. Bonaventure’s College, Stephen Handrigan, says the $75,000 dollar cost was not factored into their annual budget, and while the units have been purchased and are expected to arrive in the coming days, they need to make up the difference.
