A 26-year-old man has been charged in connection with an incident in the metro region Friday afternoon.
At approximately 4:00 p.m. officers were called to a home in the city centre of St. John’s.
There, they found an individual who had been stabbed.
Members of the RNC Major Crime Unit conducted an investigation, leading to the arrest of the man, who was charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and multiple breaches of court orders.
He was held to appear in provincial court.
The victim’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
