Condolences and tributes continue to be shared and expressed for the late Harry Steele.
The great Newfoundland businessman died Friday night at the age of 92.
Among the people remembering Mr. Steele is the current mayor of Gander, where Steele cut his business teeth.
Mayor Percy Farwell says the man never allowed his success to define him.
Farwell says Steele could be hobnobbing with presidents and prime ministers one week, but sitting with a friend in a Gander hotel enjoying a feed of cod tongues the next, adding he always had time for the average Joe.
