Warrants have been issued for two people in connection with a recent theft from a hardware store in Bay Roberts.
RCMP say 31-year-old Matthew Lundrigan and 34-year-old Amanda Parsons are wanted in connection with the incident at Home Hardware around 12 noon on Wednesday, January 29th.
Police say Lundrigan fled the store with stolen property, running toward a vehicle in the parking lot. Parsons was waiting inside the vehicle on the passenger side and opened the door for Lundrigan.
According to police, a store employee was nearly struck in an attempt to stop the pair. RCMP say both Lundrigan and Parsons are on probation and Lundrigan is prohibited from driving.
Lundrigan is facing charges including dangerous driving, and theft under $5000 dollars while Parsons is facing charges of theft under $5000 dollars and failing to comply with a probation order.
Lundrigan is also facing charges in RNC jurisdiction. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
