Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting 243 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today.

Of those, 160 are in the Eastern Health region, 31 are in Central, 24 are in Western and 28 are in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region.

Hospitalizations remain steady at 25, with eight of them in critical care.

There are also 234 new recoveries, leaving 1,588 active cases in the province.

The regional breakdown of the active cases includes 1,135 in Eastern Health, 167 in Central Health, 116 in Labrador-Grenfell Health, and 170 in the Western Health region.
