The RNC will hold a news conference tomorrow to discuss its investigation into a firearms trafficking network in the metro area.
As VOCM News reported yesterday, police have made at least one arrest in the case.
41-year-old Scott Waterman of Torbay was picked up last week without incident.
He alone faces 126 charges related to the alleged buying and selling of guns on the Northeast Avalon.
The charges range from trafficking in weapons, to possessing prohibited and restricted weapons, careless use of firearms, and possession for a dangerous purpose, to name just a few.
Waterman remains in custody, with a decision on bail also expected tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the news conference is set for 1 o’clock at RNC headquarters.
VOCM News will be there.
