VOCM News has learned that the long-awaited Health Accord is being submitted to government today.

The Health Accord, a process set up to examine and reimagine the province’s health care system and health care delivery, was originally scheduled to be presented to government in January. That schedule was pushed back when members of the Task Force who work in health care had to shift their focus to pandemic response thanks to the Omicron wave.

An implementation plan, which will include what are being called calls to action to transform the health care system, will be delivered in early March.
