Several productions from this province have been nominated for the 2022 Canadian Screen Awards.
Four of the nominated productions cover a range of content and include a feature film, two television shows, and a short documentary film.
Hudson & Rex nabbed three nominations, SyFy series Surreal Estate and short documentary film Nalujuk Night were each nominated for one.
Feature film The Righteous was nominated for three awards, including Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, and Original Screenplay, both for Mark O’Brien.
The awards will be presented on April 10th.
“Displaying the incredible talent and scenery of Newfoundland and Labrador, these nominations make us proud”, said Steve Crocker, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation.
