A former Olympian originally from this province is reflecting on her Olympic experience as the Winter Games wind down in Beijing.

Kaetlyn Osmond, who competed in both Sochi in 2014 and Pyeongchang in 2018, has three medals – one gold and two silver – to her credit.

She says her first Olympic experience didn’t fully hit her until the closing ceremonies.

She gained her first silver medal after competing four times, and it wasn’t until the closing ceremonies when she saw how everyone came together in celebration and unity that it finally hit her.
