Even though most COVID restrictions come down March 14, some courts will continue to operate under a hybrid model.
The Supreme Court has laid out their plans for Feb. 28-April 1st, which require all persons entering a courthouse to wear a 3-layer mask.
All General Division and Family Division judicial centres will continue to operate in a hybrid in-person/virtual services model.
That means the Court will continue hearing some matters in person, while continuing to conduct a significant amount of its business virtually.
Criminal, civil and family trials scheduled to begin between Feb. 28 and April 1 may proceed in-person.
All hearings that are set to be heard virtually will proceed and hearings which are scheduled to proceed in-person may proceed, but each one will be assessed by Court staff.
Supreme Court courthouses will remain open during this period, but people should use the drop box in front to pick up or drop off documents.
