The investigation into a shooting incident in St. John’s is continuing, with the RNC combing the area of Blackmarsh Road at Columbus Drive.

Early Friday morning a woman turned up at a St. John’s area hospital with a gunshot wound.

Now, police are conducting what they say is an “article search” in the area after new information was received.

Investigators are looking for dashcam or CCTV footage from the area of Blackmarsh Road and Columbus Drive between 6 and 6:30 Friday morning.

There’s no public safety concern at this time.
