Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting two more deaths due to COVID-19, bringing the total to 66 since the pandemic began.
The two most recent deaths are a woman over the age of 80 in the Eastern Health region, and a man in his 60s in the Central Health region.
Meanwhile, there are a total of 879 new confirmed cases since Saturday, and 19 people are in hospital, six of them in critical care.
There have been 219 new recoveries since yesterday; 180 in the Eastern Health region, 10 in the Central Health region, 27 in the Western Health region and two in Labrador-Grenfell Health.
Officially, there are now 2,235 active cases of COVID in the province.
Also, effective today, all provincial border controls and travel restrictions have been lifted.
Travellers are allowed to enter the province without isolation and testing requirements, and no longer have to complete a travel form.
The federal government has separate testing, quarantine and entry restrictions for people entering the province from outside the country.
