A major new development is a step closer to changing some viewscapes in downtown St. John’s.
The province has green-lighted rezoning that paves the way for a 13-storey hotel and adjacent nine-storey apartment building.
They would go up near the intersection of Springdale, Pleasant and New Gower Street.
Yesterday, the city adopted the amendments to rezone, moving the project to the next stage—a public hearing.
It will be held virtually on Wednesday, March 30 at 7 p.m.
