A home in Gander was severely damaged after catching ablaze last night.

At around 8 p.m. last night, Gander RCMP were called to a residential fire on Cotton Street.

All occupants escaped unharmed, however the home was heavily damaged.

A fire scene investigator is expected on the scene today, as investigation into the cause is ongoing.
