Provincial government officials are seeking the public’s help following a moose poaching incident in the Castors River area on the Great Northern Peninsula.
Following a tip, Resource Enforcement Officers located a moose kill site on the Castors River Resource Road just north of Reefs Harbour Junction.
It’s believed that the animal was taken illegally some time between February 11th and February 13th.
Officers are asking anyone with information on the identity of the person or persons involved to contact the Roddickton Detachment at 457-3015 or Crime Stoppers.
