An elderly man is in hospital with smoke inhalation following a house fire in Ming’s Bight Saturday morning.
The man was living with his daughter and her partner. The younger man and woman were able to escape unharmed, but the house was destroyed.
The couple has been provided with emergency shelter, winter clothes and other necessities with the help of the Canadian Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
