Ferryland RCMP are investigating an arson in Bay Bulls earlier this month that destroyed two vehicles.

Police were called to a home on Track Road Extension around 4:15 on the morning of Friday, March 4. Emergency responders found a van engulfed in flame in the driveway of the home. The fire had spread to a second vehicle in the same driveway.

There were no injuries.

Video surveillance showed a person walking up to the van before it erupted in flame, with the person in question running from the scene toward the main road.

Police are hoping to identify the person caught on video. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
