A safe and happy ending to the search for a snowmobiler reported missing on the weekend on the Great Northern Peninsula.
St. Anthony RCMP were notified around 10:30 p.m. Saturday that a snowmobiler was reported overdue in poor weather conditions.
While resources from the Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre were en route, the man was located by local searchers around 3 a.m. Sunday. He was unhurt, and drove his snowmobile back to the community with the searchers.
