A Paralympic athlete from this province has returned home from Beijing with some new hardware.
Liam Hickey was one of the Assistant Captain’s of Team Canada’s hockey team, picking up a silver medal for his efforts.
Team Canada fell to the United States in the gold medal game.
It was Hickey’s third appearance in the Paralympic Games, and his second Silver Medal.
In a post on social media, Hickey said he can’t thank the people of the province enough for their support.
