An update is coming today on what government is calling an expansion of its Ukrainian Family Support Desk.
The helpdesk has already been inundated with calls from Newfoundlanders and Labradorians who want to open their homes to Ukrainians displaced by war.
There are indications now that the province may be setting up another help desk in neighbouring Poland, which has seen an influx of millions of Ukrainian refugees.
Premier Andrew Furey and Immigration Minister Gerry Byrne will speak with reporters today at 12:30 at Confederation Building.
VOCM News will be there.
