The gas price roller coaster continues.
Just one day after the PUB adjusted gas prices to reflect recent drops in oil, oil markets surged again late this week, meaning the break provided to consumers yesterday has been reversed.
Gas prices dropped by 9.6 cents a litre on Friday, but they’re up again this morning by 8.3 cents a litre.
Diesel is up by 13.5 cents, while furnace oil costs more by 10.46 cents a litre.
Stove oil on the island is up by 12.94 cents, while in Labrador the increase is 11.33 cents.
There is no change in the price of propane.
Brent crude futures settled at about $107 US a barrel on Friday.
