A local church is holding a vigil in support of Ukraine this week.
Topsail United Church is hosting a Peace for Ukraine Vigil on Wednesday.
Representatives from the local Ukrainian community, local churches, and the town councils of CBS and Paradise will be in attendance.
A free-will offering for those affected by the war will be received,
The parish is encouraging people to bring their own battery-operated candles.
The event kicks off at 7:30 p.m. masking is required.
