The provincial government is warning the public of fake text messages being sent to people about payment for COVID vaccines.
The message, which appears to originate from a local number, indicated that MCP will pay everyone who was vaccinated $15 dollars each, with a link included to claim the money.
Government warns that MCP does not engage in such practices and does not pay residents for getting their vaccines.
Do not click the link, and delete the message from your phone.
