There will be road closures in downtown St. John’s on Sunday from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. to make way for the Huffin Puffin Marathon.

Temporary road closures will effect Southside Road, Harbour Drive, Temperance Street, Quidi Vidi Lake, Water Street and Waterford Bridge Road.

Motorists should find an alternate route or expect delays in those areas.

Details of the closures are:

Southside Road (Eastbound to Blackhead Road) 7am to 10:30am
Harbour Drive (Eastbound) 7am to 11am
Temperance Street (Both Directions) 7am to 12 Noon
Quidi Vidi Lake (counterclockwise – Lakeview Avenue to Carnell Drive) 7:30am to 12 Noon
Water Street (Westbound – Prescott Street to Waldegrave Street) 7:30am to 12 Noon
Waterford Bridge Road (Westbound) 8am to 1pm
