A messy mix of weather is on the way for most parts of the island to start the weekend.
Mother Nature will throw just about everything at us: snow, freezing rain, ice pellets, and rain.
There’s a freezing rain warning from the southwest coast to St.John’s, with snowfall warnings in other areas.
Meteorologist Mike Vandenberg says wind will be an issue. especially in the Wreckhouse with gusts to 160 km/h late tonight until early in the morning.
The freezing rain will last for three or four hours, but it could be heavy at times.
The area from Clarenville to the west coast will likely see a sloppy mix bag.
