Nine new COVID-related deaths are being reported in Newfoundland and Labrador since Wednesday.
That’s the highest number reported at a single time, and brings to 101 the number of people who have died due to the virus in this province.
The number of hospitalizations has also hit a new high of 33, with six of those people in critical care.
There are 507 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 being reported today, with 454 confirmed on Thursday.
