Holyrood RCMP are reminding parents the necessity of speaking to their children about not accepting anything from a stranger and not getting into a vehicle with a stranger.

They say a man attempted to lure two youths into his vehicle early Thursday evening on Country Path Road in Holyrood.

The man, who was driving a small black car with tinted windows, stopped and spoke with two boys and offered them a granola bar in an attempt to lure them into his vehicle, according to police.
