A local band has made the decision to postpone or cancel the remainder of their shows on the island until June because of “COVID-related reasons.”

Shanneyganock announced via social media on Wednesday that their show in Foxtrap at Shenanigans on April 14 has been cancelled, while concerts in Lawn and Marystown have been postponed until June 17 and 18.

The band apologizes for the inconvenience, adding that while they are disappointed, they felt it was the “best move for all” at this time.

Refunds for the Foxtrap show will be provided through Eventbrite, while tickets for the other shows will be honoured on the new dates.
