The RNC have charged a 52-year-old man with assault following an unusual incident caught on camera in Paradise.

Police were called to the area of Laurie Road and St. Thomas’ Line around 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Video circulating on social media shows a man and what appears to be a young female engaged in an altercation while people off camera shout at the man.

It’s not clear what, if anything, prompted the apparent assault.

The accused has been released from custody to appear in court at a later date.
