A clinic at the School of Pharmacy at Memorial University which helps people with their medication regime is again seeing their patients in person.
After a couple of years of mostly virtual and telephone consultations, the Medication Therapy Services Clinic has resumed the old way of seeing patients, but still offers the virtual approach as well.
Dr. Cathy Balsom, a pharmacist, says their purpose is to work with people to help them better understand their medical conditions and medications.
There is no cost for the service and consultations are extensive.
She says one of their objectives is to answer questions about what are these medications for, and to see if all the medications a person is taking are required because sometimes, they are not.
