A 60-year-old man was arrested on a number of charges following a disturbance at a business in St. John’s early Friday morning.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m., police responded to a business on Elizabeth Avenue where a person was allegedly fighting with a staff member.
Police patrolled the area and located the man.
Following an investigation, the man was charged with common assault, assault of a police officer, resisting arrest and robbery.
He was taken to the city lock-up to appear in court Friday.
