Memorial University is hosting a national women university administrators conference this week.
More than 350 women who hold academic and administrative positions at universities across the country are meeting virtually to explore some of the issues faced by women leaders in higher education.
This year’s conference theme “Best Kind” has attracted a record number of registrants.
Topics include an inclusive campus, the equity gap, accessibility, Indigenization and leading with kindness.
Among the keynote speakers is former president of the University of British Columbia, Dr. Martha Piper and former president of the University of Alberta, Dr. Indira Sameraskera.
The conference takes place Thursday and Friday.
