The owners of the Newfoundland Embassy in downtown St. John’s have been left baffled after a bizarre theft Sunday night.
In a post on Facebook, the Embassy says someone jumped onto their outside deck and stole three of their Newfoundland Growlers flags.
Then, they say the culprit tried to rip their Game Day Headquarters banner off the side of the building.
The company is taking the situation in stride, however, adding the light-hearted hashtag of #CanYouNotStealOurFlags to the post.
