Those looking to travel on the Outer Ring Road this Sunday will have to take a different route.
The highway will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to clean up garbage from the ditches and sides of the road.
Much of the garbage flies off vehicles bound for Robin Hood Bay.
Last October some 40 cubic metres of garbage was removed while in May of last year, truckloads of debris were picked up.
The cost of last May’s cleanup was approximately $80,000 dollars.
