Cleanup crews had no problem filling and re-filling trucks with loads of garbage on and off the Outer Ring Road today.
The four-lane highway is closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to rid the landscape of trash discarded both intentionally and unintentionally.
It also doesn’t help that it’s the road to the Robin Hood Bay dump.
Last fall, about 40 cubic meters of garbage was removed from along the highway.
An estimate of the haul this time around has yet to be released.
