A resident of the province originally from Zimbabwe is giving advice to Ukrainian refugees now calling Newfoundland and Labrador home.
Tendai Mundunge has been living in St. John’s since 2012 after coming to MUN to study Civil Engineering and has been an active member of Cricket NL.
He says when first coming to the province, it’s important to take time to continuously work at something. For him that was cricket.
He says when you come to a new environment you have to figure out what works for you. He says that can take weeks or months to figure out, but it’s important to give yourself that time.
